CHIROPRACTIC DOCTORS

Dr. Donna Kobrin
Owner of Chiropractic Wellness Center, is an honors graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. As a student she was a recipient of numerous honors including induction into the National Registry of "Who's Who", single honoree of the 1999 "Diagnosis" award and Scholastic Excellence Award from 1997-1999.  In 2000, she became an adjunct professor at Collin County Community College and Tarrant County College where she taught Microbiology and Pre-medical Biology. Dr. Kobrin has received specialized training in nutrition, pregnancy adjusting, and genomic genetic testing.

As a member of the McKinney, TX Chamber of Commerce and  Women’s Alliance of McKinney (WAM), Dr. Kobrin is active in the community serving on the Advisory board for McKinney Woman and McKinney Kids Magazine. She has also been a contributing writer for several local publications.


Dr. Dennis Skogsbergh
Has 42 years of clinical chiropractic experience since graduating summa cum laude from the National College in Illinois.  He is cross-trained and board certified in both radiology and orthopedics.  In addition to general practice, he has 9 years training at the Texas Back Institute and another 9 years in academia administration.      Dr. Skogsbergh is widely published with recent contribution to three textbooks in anatomy, lower back treatment, and chiropractic practice. He continues to maintain a busy postgraduate schedule. 
    


Director of Operations

Heidi Zuber, CA, CPT
Director of Operations for Chiropractic Wellness Center, brings to this office over 16 years of medical background in management and insurance billing.  Heidi is also a Certified Chiropractic Assistant, Certified Weight loss Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer.  

Heidi is an active member of the McKinney community. She is a member of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce Women’s Alliance of McKinney (WAM) and Young Professionals, past President of the chamber’s Ambassador's Club & a graduate of Citizenship    
                         McKinney.


MASSAGE THERAPISTS 

Brenda Wright, RMT
Joined the team at Chiropractic Wellness Center in 2006. She    has been a Massage Therapist for 16 years.  She graduated from San  Diego School of Healing Arts and is certified as a Medical Massage Practitioner.  She spent 9 years at the Mirage Hotel and Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada and 6 years as a Massage Therapist at a chiropractic office in McKinney.





Lisa Miller, RMT
Joined the team at Chiropractic Wellenss Center in 2008.  While being a relative newcomer to the bodywork field, Lisa brings many years experience of understanding the daily stresses of Corporate America.  Her creative approach to the table blends Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue and Myofascial Trigger Point Therapies.  Additionally she is certified in Pregnancy Massage and Hot Stone Therapies.

Lisa is also certified in Equine Sports Massage Therapy from Equissage in Round Hill, VA and is an avid horsewoman.  Firmly believing that horses should be trained and related to in a more natural way, she has studied Natural Horsemanship for several years and is currently working on her Level 3 in Natural Horsemanship. 

Lisa's business, Basic LMents, provides specific massage services for Equestrian Athletes.  Having many years of experience as an equestrian, riding both English and Western, she brings the ability to analyze movement patterns and reconize potential injury.

In addition to her many talents, for the last 20 years Lisa has been active in the theatre throughout the metroplex.

Rhonda Grubb, LMT, NCTMB
Joined the team at Chiropractic Wellness Center in 2008. She brings over 15 years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist and Nationally Board Certified Bodywork Therapist.  She was voted "Best Massage Therapist in Texas" by City Sports Magazine in 2005, 2006, and 2007.  With over 1000 hours of advanced bodywork therapy coursework, her expertise includes:  Cause and Effect of Injuries/Biomechanical Dysfunction; Neuromuscular Therapy; CranioSacral Therapy; Lymphatic Drainage; Sports Massage/Injury Prevention; Soft Tissue Myofascial Release; Trigger Point Therapy. 

Rhonda's background as a competitve athelete for 20 years includes running, cycling and swimming events.  Her most memorable events are: 1995 USCF State Time Trial Championship - Gold Medal Age Group Winner; 1997 Qualifier/Finisher Ironman Hawaii World Championship; 2000 Finisher Ironman Canada; 2002 Finisher Ironman Wisconsin.  Rhonda has taught cycling as wall as bodywork therapy self-release techniques.  She is also a Massage Therapy Instructor.



BILLING/SUPERVISOR

Nicole Nieland
Nicole has over 5 years of medical experience and 6 years of customer service. Previously, Nicole was a registered Massage Therapist, trained in Dallas, Texas; Nicole attended Normandale Community College in Bloomington Minnesota.



 


 CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT

Sophie Nguyen 
Sophie hails from the semiconductor industry.  She has over 12 years experience in the administrative/clerical capacity including customer service, human resources assistant and a legal assistant.  She attended the University of Texas in Austin, Austin Community College and Collin County Community College.  

Sophie is also a licensed Esthician and Makeup Artist.  She currently volunteers her time and talent at the McKinney Performing Arts Center and as a Girl Scout leader.
